Shluker Campaign

Even though soldiers are outfitted with canteens, the shluker (pronounced shloo-ker), a thin, lightweight carrier holding three liters of water, is a soldier's best defense against dehydration. With its unique straw-like dispenser that makes taking a sip discreet, safe and quick; the shluker can keep a soldier going for 24 hours or more if necessary. Beginning with the Gaza War in December, 2008 over 1,200 shlukers have been distributed and requests continue to come from many bases whose soldiers will immeasurably benefit from this vital piece of army gear.
