Learn More About Pina Chama, One Of Our New Projects

The first Pina Chama (Warm Corner) in Israel was established in 2001 at the Gush Etzion Junction in memory of two local men who were murdered by terrorists on the road - Dr. Shmuel Gillis of Karmei Tzur and Tzachi Sasson of Rosh Tzurim. Since then, others continue to open up throughout Judea and Samaria as a way of welcoming soldiers on active duty and bringing them a taste of home - both literally and figuratively. It's a way for these communities to say thank you to those charged with protecting them. The newest Pina Chama in Maale Michmash, was donated by One Israel Fund in memory of Yanai Weissman HY"D, who was murdered while fending off two terrorists in Sha'ar Binyamin in February 2016.
