Conditions

Tour Limitations and Pricing

The Mission is limited to a maximum of 15 people and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis with preference given to those registering for the full 7-Day Mission. Reservation and full payment are due immediately.

As per the accountants of One Israel Fund, the entire Leadership Mission is fully tax deductible. The mission can be paid in full via Donor Advised Funds, stock and/or IRA transfers.

The cost to attend the full 7-day mission is $5,000 with a single supplement of $1,600. The cost for the 4-day mini-mission option is $3,600 with a single supplement of $1,000. Airfare, travel and additional health insurance are not included but can also be arranged through One Israel Fund. We recommend Chaikel Travel for your flight and travel insurance – (718) 487-9280 / travel@chaikel.com and tell them you are part of the One Israel Fund Solidarity Mission. Full payment is required with registration.

Hotels and meals

  • 7 Deluxe Nights at the David Citadel Hotel
  • Buffet breakfasts daily
  • Most lunches and dinners

Hotel rooms will be provided in accordance with the itinerary. All rooms in the David Citadel are deluxe. Room assignments are made by local hotel management on run of the house basis.

Services included

  • Transportation from Ben Gurion Airport to David Citadel provided to arrival flights with six or more participants. Transportation to Ben Gurion Airport at the conclusion of the mission.
  • Luxury touring vehicles (fortified when deemed necessary by security officials) for all transportation
  • Armored Medic
  • Licensed English speaking tour guide
  • All tips for guide, driver, medic.

Services not included

  • Airfare to and from Israel, travel and health insurance, beverages and food not on the regular menu, personal items, phone calls, etc. Bellhop service may or may not be available. It is not included and can be arranged at expense of the mission participant.

Airfare

One Israel Fund takes no responsibility for flight arrangements. However, everyone is required to arrive in Israel no later than Sunday night, February 18th and must depart no earlier than the night of Sunday, February 25th (or after midnight on Monday, February 26th). For those opting for the 4-Day mission, the departure would be on Thursday Night, February 22nd/Friday after midnight, February 23rd. The mission begins with check-in to the David Citadel on Sunday night, February 18th with travel days on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and will conclude after dinner on Sunday night, February 25th. Transportation will be provided to the airport on Thursday night and Sunday Night and, for those remaining in Israel, back to Jerusalem after the airport drop-off. Terms and Conditions

Payment

Full payment is due with registration. If paying by any method other than personal check or credit card, please be in direct touch with Scott Feltman to receive correct information regarding Donor Advised Funds (DAFs), wire or stock transfers.

Cancellation Policy and Terms

50% of the full cost will be refunded for cancellations made in writing up to 30 days prior to the mission start date. There will be no refunds within thirty days of departure unless the trip is cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of One Israel Fund. If a trip participant leaves during the trip, regardless of cause or reason, the remainder of the trip is completely non-refundable.

VAT Tax Regulations

Please be aware that according to the new Israeli tax laws, being strictly enforced by all hotels, all guests holding Israeli citizenship, even those with dual citizenship / passports both for individual travelers or invited local guests, will be charged VAT tax. Therefore, please provide such information for quote finalization; otherwise, the charge shall be retroactive.

Passport and Visas

For US citizens, passports should be valid for a minimum of 6+ months from date of arrival back in the US. Passengers are responsible for ensuring that they have the proper travel documents.  If you are not a US citizen, please contact your local Israeli consulate for visa requirements.  Visas are not needed for US citizens.  A copy of each passport must accompany the application.

Insurance

One Israel Fund does not provide travel insurance. We strongly suggest purchasing a policy with your travel agent when booking your airfare. If your travel insurance policy does not include a supplemental health insurance option, we strongly recommend this as well. If you need assistance purchasing either or both of these policies, please speak with Scott Feltman.

Liability

Changes can be made in the itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control. We hereby expressly waive any claim for accidents, injuries, delays or any other loss that any of our participants incur as a result of any service provided on your trip. In no event shall the liability of One Israel Fund exceed the amount actually paid.

One Israel Fund reserves the right to reject acceptance for the trip to any person at the sole discretion of One Israel Fund.
