One Israel Fund is dedicated to supporting the welfare and safety of the men, women and children of Judea, Samaria, the Jordan Valley and the reemerging communities of Gaza evacuees. These 460,000 citizens of Israel are the vanguard of Israel’s security and sovereignty as a Jewish State.
Recognized as a 4-Star charity by Charity Navigator, One Israel Fund is the premier organization in the United States providing support for these areas. Working in concert with communities, government officials, and the IDF, One Israel Fund fills the gaps in medical, social welfare, recreational, and preventive security services which are conspicuously lacking in these areas as well as locations throughout the State of Israel.
Helping to make available a broad spectrum of communal needs, One Israel Fund is a recognized 501(c)(3) not for profit charitable organization, ID# 11-3195338.
From the day that Abraham purchased the Cave of the Patriarchs in the year 2085 to the earliest modern settlements of Kibbutz Merom Golan, Ofira and Gush Etzion to the more than 150 thriving communities now in Judea and Samaria, the land which resonates so profoundly with the echoes of our forefathers is once again home to more than 460,000 Jewish men, women and children. Following the mandates of Levi Eshkol, Golda Meir and Yitzhak Rabin – visionaries of the Labor party, through to today’s Likud leaders and all the coalition and faction governments in between, the Jewish presence in Judea and Samaria has grown steadily against all odds.
Rough terrain, the threat of losing their land or homes and every form of terror’s cowardice has not deterred the proud inhabitants of these communities from living their lives, to the greatest extent possible, in peace and normalcy. Since its founding in 1993, One Israel Fund has dedicated its efforts to providing humanitarian aid and assistance to these fledgling communities.
We’re proud of the steady progress in each and every community. As each group of trailers change to homes; as each new school building community center or synagogue is erected; as each playground and day care center bubbles over with the hopes and dreams of our future – we know we’ve helped these brave pioneers establish and maintain a safe and secure life in our Biblical Heartland. Working in concert with communities, government officials and the IDF, One Israel Fund fills the gaps in medical, social, educational, recreational, preventive security services and other forms of social welfare which are conspicuously lacking in Judea and Samaria. Our goal is to undertake ongoing fundraising campaigns to help ensure the physical, emotional and moral well-being of the Jewish families living in each and every community throughout these areas.
In addition, One Israel Fund continues to rebuild the lives and new communities for those who were uprooted from their homes in Gush Katif (Gaza) during the summer of 2005. One Israel Fund has invested tens of millions of dollars to date for these projects including medical facilities and equipment, surveillance camera and emergency lighting systems, communication gear, armored ambulances, shelters, vans and vests, and training courses for first responders which, often times, spell the difference between life and death in scores of communities. What’s more, One Israel Fund has and continues to fund communal projects as well including playgrounds, youth and senior centers, libraries, mikvaot, synagogues, schools and scholarship funds, all of which add greatly to the quality of life in these communities. Helping to make available a broad spectrum of communal needs, One Israel Fund is a recognized 501(c)(3) not for profit charitable organization, ID# 11-3195338 and is the premier North American charity whose efforts are dedicated but not exclusive to these citizens and their communities.
