Eve Harow

Last Shabbat I was a Scholar-In-Residence at a Long Island Synagogue with an afternoon talk in Long Beach. (Nice boardwalk but note to self to wear better shoes next time).

Anyhow, the Rabbi and his wife were lovely hosts and the audience was attentive and interested. Topics: The current situation in Israel; The reinvigorated Judaism that we’re experiencing in our ancient homeland; The rejuvenation of our oils, dates, and incense spices of yore; Women’s roles during the enigmatic time period of the First Temple period. In short, a mix of Tanach, history, reality, and surreality.

Can’t do it any other way.

I will be available the Shabbat of July 19/20 Parshat Balak to speak in the NY/NJ area.Going to have a lot to say as you can imagine so be in touch if you’re interested in doing some thinking, feeling pride, and also frustration.

Also, terrific projects are happening at home with your partnership.
