We are all witnessing the daily terror attacks throughout Israel. Along with an inundation of difficult footage and photographs, we also see medical first-responders working side-by-side with the IDF and security personnel. One Israel Fund is very proud to have supplied over 300 armored vests to local Security First Responders in Judea and Samaria in order to protect them as they respond to these attacks. At the same time, our Emergency Medical Responders, who arrive with the ambulances, are not yet properly equipped with such protection.
Together with Hatzalah Yehuda and Shomron, we have designed a specific ballistic bullet-proof vest specifically meant for medics as they work to save the wounded in the field. It is imperative to protect our medics to allow them to work safely and save lives. The project includes 150 such vests equipped with basic first-care supplies, which will be distributed to 75 ambulances in Judea and Samaria at a total cost of $180,000.
This project is of paramount urgency and importance; we turn to you to help us save precious lives.
Cost per vest: $1200
