The Temple Mount Sifting Project is an archaeological endeavor open to the public, enabling people from all walks of life and all ages to experience hands-on excitement of archaeological discovery of artifacts from the ancient heart of Jerusalem.

The project was established in order to salvage archaeological artifacts from the massive heaps of soil that were removed illegally and destructively from the Temple Mount during renovations conducted in 1999.
